Drop It

It’s official. Baby boy has learned the “drop it” game.

It seems to happen most often when he’s in his highchair. I sit him down, give him 3 or 4 toys to play with, and next thing I know, the toys are all on the ground and he’s looking at me with the, “Well, aren’t you gonna get those,” look.

And so I pick them up, even though I know that he’s just gonna drop them all again. Which he does.

Again, and again, and again, until my chicken is burned and we have to order pizza for dinner.

I kid, I kid. I’ve never burned the chicken, or any dinner for that matter, over the “drop it” game but he does do it at least 4 to 5 times. Then I’m done with the game and he’s more interested in chewing on his bibs.

The “drop it” game. It’s a thing people.
